Rehearsals and preparations in full flow - - Hip Hip Hooray
The whole school is buzzing with activity. Props and costumes are being made, scenes, songs and dances are being rehearsed, the building is being transformed. We have an amazing design team working with the kids - Hannah Mayall -set, Tabitha Doyle - costume, Oliver Fenwick - lighting, Anna Longmuir - producer, we have graphic designers, musicians, songwriters, choreographers, photographers..... all from the wider school community. Preparations begin! - Hip Hip Hooray
After months of behind the scene work, preparations and rehearsals for Hip Hip Hooray are underway! I am co-directing an ambitious community arts project at a North London Primary School to celebrate their centenary. We are involving all 441 children in the school, all the teachers and support staff and as many parents as have the time! A specially commissioned script, written by Danny Scheinmann, takes us through the last century up until the present day, and moves the audie
