The psoriasis tour continues!
We are continuing to take the live performance of "Psoriasis; The Skin I'm In" to conferences and events around the UK and Europe. We have had such a warm reception from audiences of health care professionals and people with psoriasis, and have had dermatologists reporting a change in the way they are practising as a result of what they have learnt from this piece. Psoriasis, The Skin I'm In
We have been taking the live performances of The Skin I'm In to conferences and meetings around the UK and Europe and are really pleased with the impact it is having. We have performed to nurses, GPs, dermatologists, people with psoriasis and the general public, for British Association of Dermatologists, Psoriasis Association, Mimms Live and Celgene, in London, Brighton, Liverpool, Stockholm and Windsor. Stories and songs
We had a great night at Paper Dress Vintage. I told a traditional nordic story - Seal Woman -adapted from the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves", and Nina Miranda (Smoke City/ Zeep) and I sang two songs which we wrote together, accompanied on guitar by Alex Kingsbury. The first one was inspired by some beautiful footage of icebergs that we saw in the documentary "Village at the end of the World" directed by Sarah Gavron and David Katznelson. Working with words....
As well as my other work, I do a small amount of editing and writing. I often work with and for the novelist Danny Scheinmann (my husband!) - reading and editing his work. I'm also delighted to be working with my friend, the photographer Nadav Kander , crafting words to express his art. "Dust" is the 3rd book that he has asked me to work on. He writes, I listen, and edit, and together we find some meaning and form to his thoughts. Get along to the exhibition if you can. His
