Having our stories listened to deeply with curiosity and non-judgement can be a profound and transformative experience

Telling our own stories

Both telling and listening to our own real life stories can bring clarity and understanding for ourselves and those around us. I work creatively with clients, understanding that the arts speak in metaphor and metaphor is the language of soul. Art moves us beyond the rational and dips into the unconscious and this often reveals something that might otherwise have remained hidden.

In a corporate context I co-facilitate deep leadership development retreats for individuals and small groups. I have worked with senior leaders in companies such as Unilever, Google, McKinsey, Rabo Bank, The World Bank and Airbus.

I work intuitively and creatively with traditional stories and myths as guides or maps into the subconscious. They form a framework for development and powerful enquiry, offering an archetypal context for our very personal experiences. This can be a new and liberating way to explore questions of both a work and personal nature. The ancient wisdom found within stories brings new perspectives and is an exciting and unusual way to problem-solve and understand ourselves.
